| SVU Self Indulgence |

So, I had to share this picture because I LOVE THIS PICTURE!
This took place last Thursday.
I wasn't going to go to any more L&O SVU sets this season. I wasn't I wasn't I wasn't. But then I heard they were filming on the courthouse steps and I wanted to just make sure Stephanie March wasn't going to be filming there because I've really wanted to see her filming so even though I thought she was done for the season I decided to go to the courthouses, just to be sure. Well, I asked a crew person if Stephanie March was filming and he confirmed she was done for the year. Bummer.
BUT....
These two were totally just hanging out nearby, waiting to film.
And I have Shauna to thank for being my roll-model for just going up and ASKING FOR A PICTURE! Because, and I'm not kidding, I litterally went down into the subway station *twice* before finally just getting up the nerve to approach and ask.
And Duuuuuuude.
I'm so glad I did.
Because this is the Bestest. Picture.

| Time to indulge in SVU...it's been so long. :D |

Alright, SVU-time! (That's not as snappy as peanut-butter-jelly-time, but that's okay). Basically, the whole thing was just a trip.
The best part of SVU filming in my neighborhood was just how MUCH of it there was. They were here for two days straight and had at least four different sets within a two block radius of each other (not all at once)—two day sets and two night sets. And the set dressing and the equipment needed for all those sets and for lighting both day and night…walking around my block felt like I was walking around the back lots of Universal or something like that. The entire area was just movie magic where ever you looked. Not to mention the fact that every time I left my apartment I practically ran into Belzer, Meloni, or Ice-T or all three of them (but no Mariska Hargitay as she wasn't in any of these scenes). Also, the scenes themselves were generally interesting to watch film (one not so much, but one especially so).
So, all in all, a ton of fun and, as I said, just such a trip.
BTW, if you're not a fan of SVU, this will probably be long and boring. Heck, even if you ARE a fan of SVU, this still might be long and boring. Don't say I didn't warn you. :)
